2024 World Frontier Science and Technology Conference Successfully Held

The 2024 World Frontier Science and Technology Conference, hosted by the China International Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology (CIAPST), successfully opened on the morning of September 13, 2024, at the National Convention Center.

The World Frontier Science and Technology Conference has been successfully held for three consecutive years, standing out with four key highlights: renowned speakers, international influence, cutting-edge technology, and diverse achievements. As a significant part of the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), the conference plays a crucial role in advancing international cooperation in scientific and technological services within the framework of CIFTIS.

Over 1,000 experts and scholars gathered at the National Convention Center to discuss frontier technologies and explore opportunities for international collaboration.

The conference was chaired by Academician Shen Baogen, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Vice President of the China International Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology (CIAPST), and Chairman of the Expert Committee of the World Frontier Science and Technology Conference.

President Duan Miyi emphasized that the China International Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology (CIAPST) was founded with the mission of advancing international scientific and technological exchanges in China.

He described CIAPST as a pioneering force and a leader in China's international science and technology exchange initiatives. Looking ahead, CIAPST will remain at the forefront of global scientific and technological collaboration and innovation. By integrating global scientific talent and achievements, the organization will continue to implement its science and technology empowerment strategy, actively promote the realization of the Global Development Initiative, and contribute to building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Mr. Mostafa, Chairman of the Moroccan Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer, Farah Kelly Kamara, official CEO of the Belt and Road Development Promotion Association, and Mr. Ondar-Oolurduma Yorlanovich, Commercial Counselor of the Republic of Tuva of the Russian Federation in China, delivered warm and enthusiastic speeches on behalf of the international participants.
